Dutch DJ and producer born Maurits Jan Westveen in Amsterdam. Originally known as Maurice West in the big-room scene, he rebranded as Mau P in 2022 and broke through with "Drugs From Amsterdam", which hit #1 on Beatport and earned over 192 million Spotify plays. The track won Song of the Year and Dance Song of the Year at the 2023 EDMA Awards. Son of a jazz saxophonist father and jazz singer mother, he grew up immersed in music. Debuted at #91 on DJ Mag Top 100 in 2024, climbing to #77 in 2025. Resident DJ at Wynn Las Vegas.
