Seattle-based producer Omar Kadmiri, known as Kumarion, discovered drum & bass through the punk and reggae scene in 2011 and began releasing music under the Kumarion moniker in 2015. Drawing from his North African and Middle Eastern heritage, he blends aggressive sound design with melodic elements, citing Noisia and Clams Casino as key influences. His 2020 breakout single "Want It" on Jadu Dala surpassed one million Spotify streams and earned co-signs from RL Grime, Madeon, and JOYRYDE. He has since released on Monstercat, Deadbeats, UKF, Wakaan, and Crucast, establishing himself as a leading figure in the American drum & bass movement.
