Ed Keeley, better known by his stage name Friction, is a British drum and bass producer and DJ from Brighton, England. A highly respected figure in the UK electronic underground, he is renowned for his technical skills utilizing three turntables and for co-founding the influential Shogun Audio and Elevate Records labels. A former host of the BBC Radio 1 Drum & Bass Show, Friction continues to push the genre forward as both a performer and a tastemaker.
