EERAFestival appearances

Norwegian singer-songwriter Anna Lena Bruland, performing as EERA, crafts emotionally raw, atmospheric music from her base in London. Raised in Drøbak, a fishing town near Oslo, she moved to the UK at 18 to study music, eventually founding gothic-pop group Anna Lena and the Orchids before launching her solo project in 2015. Her debut EP on Big Dada (Ninja Tune) drew comparisons to Sharon Van Etten and Cat Power, while her 2017 album Reflection of Youth revealed a rawer, rockier edge. Her second album Speak followed in 2021 to critical acclaim.
