about
Dark Latin Groove (DLG) is an American salsa group formed in New York City in 1996 by Grammy-winning producer Sergio George. The original lineup featured lead vocalist Huey Dunbar, rapper James "Da Barba" de Jesus, and singer Wilfredo "Fragancia" Crispín, all of Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage. Known for blending salsa with reggae, hip-hop, and electronic textures, DLG became one of the most popular tropical music acts of the late 1990s.
