Chinese-Canadian bass house and speed house producer and DJ based in Los Angeles. After graduating with a finance degree from Columbia University, CHYL quit her job in investment banking to attend ICON Collective and pursue dance music production. A pioneer of 150bpm speed house, her 2022 viral remix of Kanye West's "Mercy" and debut on the Countdown festival main stage marked a breakout year. Signed to Dim Mak Records in 2023, with releases on Monstercat and Bassrush.
