Blu DeTiger is an American singer and bass guitarist from New York City, born February 22, 1998. She picked up the bass at age seven and played her first gig at CBGB. Summers in Ibiza as a child exposed her to house and DJ culture, shaping her funk, disco, and new wave-influenced sound. She gained widespread recognition through viral TikTok bass performances during the pandemic. Her releases include the EP How Did We Get Here? (2021) and studio album All I Ever Want Is Everything (2024). She appeared on Saturday Night Live in January 2022 with Bleachers, was listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2023, and received a Fender signature Player Plus Jazz Bass in 2024.
