Big Wild is the electronic music project of Jackson Stell, a producer, songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Lancaster, Massachusetts, now based in Los Angeles. He began making beats at age 14 and launched the Big Wild project in 2012 after a formative trip to Big Sur, California. His breakout single "Aftergold" featuring Tove Styrke topped the Spotify Global Viral Chart in 2015. He signed with Counter Records and released his debut album Superdream in 2019, followed by subsequent albums that blend atmospheric electronic production with indie pop, disco, and cinematic elements.
