Bear Grillz is the stage name of Robert James Pangelinan (born January 5, 1979), an American EDM DJ and record producer based in Denver, Colorado, known for performing in a bear costume and later a light-up bear head. He rose to prominence with dubstep-driven bass music, scoring multiple Beatport #1s and charting on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. In 2016, he famously revealed his identity on The Jerry Springer Show, and in 2019 released his debut album Demons via Dim Mak, which earned a perfect 10/10 from DJ Mag. He is also the founder of the independent record label Rude Service Records.
