Au5 (born Austin Collins, September 18, 1992) is an American electronic musician from New Jersey, known for his melodically and sonically rich fusion of dubstep, trance, drum and bass, and ambient music — a style he calls "trancestep." He rose to prominence through releases on Canadian label Monstercat, with tracks like "Halcyon" and "Snowblind" both reaching #1 on Beatport's dubstep charts. He has since released albums on Ophelia Records and collaborated with artists including BT, Seven Lions, Crystal Skies, and Mr. Bill.
