Apashe (John De Buck) is a Belgian-born Canadian music producer and sound designer known for his genre-bending fusion of orchestral compositions with bass-heavy electronic music. Born in Brussels, he moved to Montreal at 19 to study electroacoustics at Concordia University. After working as a sound designer at Apollo Studio co-producing audio for Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs, he left in 2014 to focus on his own music. The first artist signed to Kannibalen Records in 2011, he gained widespread recognition with his 2020 album Renaissance, recorded with the 69-piece Prague Symphony Orchestra. His music has been featured in trailers for John Wick, Fast & Furious, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Iron Fist, and Love, Death & Robots.
